How Does the Lineup Optimizer Work?
The Lineup Optimizer analyzes your synced rosters and recommends the best possible starting lineup for the current week, based on player projections.
How to access it
Open the Dynasty Nerds app or go to app.dynastynerds.com. The Lineup Optimizer is available from the home screen or the main navigation menu.
What it does
- Pulls your current roster from your synced leagues
- Compares projected points for all eligible players at each position
- Accounts for flex slots (FLEX, SUPER_FLEX, WRRB_FLEX, REC_FLEX)
- Recommends specific lineup moves to maximize your projected score for the week
Supported platforms
Sleeper and ESPN Fantasy leagues are supported. MFL, FFPC, and Fleaflicker leagues are not currently supported for optimization.
Best Ball leagues are automatically excluded — they optimize lineups on their own.
If no recommendations appear
- Projections may not be available yet for the current week — they typically become available a few days before game day
- Make sure your leagues are synced (check your league list in the app)
- Only Sleeper and ESPN leagues will appear — other platforms are not yet supported
