Having Issues with the NerdHerd Podcast on Apple Podcasts?
If you're having issues with the NerdHerd Podcast on Apple Podcasts, please follow these instructions.
- First, let's clean things up in Apple Podcasts:
- Head to the NerdHerd show (tap an episode, hit the three dots ⋮, then 'Go to Show')
- Tap those three dots again and then tap 'Unfollow Show'
- Force quit the app (swipe up from bottom of screen and then swipe all the way up on Apple Podcasts app to close it completely)
- Now here's the important part:
- Reopen Apple Podcasts
- Tap Library at the bottom
- Hit the three dots by your profile (top right)
- Tap 'Follow a Show by URL...'
- Copy and paste your personal RSS feed URL into the input box. You can find your RSS link in Account Settings under the Perks section
- You may be prompted to sign into your Dynasty Nerds account upon re-adding the show
- Last steps:
- Force quit and reopen Apple Podcasts one more time
- Find the newest NerdHerd episode in Home or Library
- Tap through to the show page (three dots ⋮ → 'Go to Show')
- Pull down to refresh – you should see the latest episodes
- Don't forget to follow the show again (three dots ⋮)
- And you're back in business! 🎙️
